Through a generous contribution by Mr. Barry Segal at the 2006 Clinton Global Initiative, SSBx has been able to hire 2 of our B.E.S.T. graduates as GREENWAY STEWARDS.  James Wells and Amilcar Laboy perform a variety of community supporting services that the New York City Government claims it cannot afford.  These 2 gentlemen, along with B.E.S.T. Field Manager Dwaine Lee are SSBx's ambassadors for the coming South Bronx Greenway.  They are also responsible for managing volunteer and community service teams that offer to help SSBx "Green the Ghetto!"
