Sergio Sandoval is a long time activist with experience in community organizing and coalition building. Having worked with various groups in the United States and in Australia. prior to joining SSBx, Sergio most recently worked as the Director of Administration at Legal Services NYC, and the Urban Justice Center. Raised in East Los Angeles, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and worked as a primary school teacher in South Central Los Angeles. He is conversant in Spanish, knows a bit of American Sign Language, travels whenever he can, and believes that all of our human rights movements have much to learn from each others’ victories. He is also an artist who is deeply committed to the mission of SSBx.
