VOLUNTEERS

SSBx needs YOU! Join SSBx every Tuesday or Wednesday, from July through November, at the SSBx sponsored Mott-Haven Farmers Market at Padre Plaza Community Gardens. This project is an opportunity for you to learn about SSBx's work and engage with our community.  On Tuesdays, volunteers are needed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m (various shifts offered within the time frame) for distributing fliers and outreaching for the market.  Wednesday volunteers are needed from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (various shifts offered within the time frame) for set-up, clean-up, sale, customer assistance, table monitoring, etc.

This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for individuals, school, church and corporate groups.  If you or your group is interested in participating, please contact Francesca at framsawak@ssbx.org.

Volunteers are required throughout the year for many events and projects. A wide variety of skills, time commitments, and interests can be catered for.

Inquiries about volunteering should be directed to info@ssbx.org. Please also include your area of interest, the approximate dates you are available, and your estimated time commitment per week.
